#8586 Can't use the oc command with CommuniShift
Closed: Fixed 4 years ago by kevin. Opened 4 years ago by abompard.

I'm trying to use the oc command to interact with CommuniShift, but I can't login.

$ oc login os.fedorainfracloud.org
The server is using a certificate that does not match its hostname: x509: certificate is valid for *.apps.os.fedorainfracloud.org, apps.os.fedorainfracloud.org, not os.fedorainfracloud.org
You can bypass the certificate check, but any data you send to the server could be intercepted by others.
Use insecure connections? (y/n): y

error: couldn't get https://os.fedorainfracloud.org:443/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server: unexpected response status 503

Disclaimer: I don't know much about OpenShift and may be doing something very wrong. Error 503 isn't a good sign, though.

Yes, you need to login to the web interface and then select your name in the upper right and 'copy login command'. This will let you get a command line to login. ;)
