#8374 [RH-Internal] mirrors.fedoraproject.org - Missing local RH-BRQ mirror for F31
Closed: Fixed 4 years ago by adrian. Opened 4 years ago by frantisekz.

Hi,

We're struggling with missing local RH mirror in Brno office for Fedora 31.

Internal ticket: https://redhat.service-now.com/surl.do?n=PNT0698255
Logs from GlobalSync are available here under Fedora entries: http://globalsync.brq.redhat.com/

Snippet from ticket describing the issue:

Mirrors working correctly (F30):
https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/mirrorlist?repo=fedora-30&arch=x86_64
https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/mirrorlist?repo=updates-released-f30&arch=x86_64
https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/mirrorlist?repo=updates-testing-f30&arch=x86_64
(you see "http://download.eng.brq.redhat.com/pub/fedora/" as the first
mirror on internal Brno network)

Mirrors broken (F31):
https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/mirrorlist?repo=fedora-31&arch=x86_64
https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/mirrorlist?repo=updates-released-f31&arch=x86_64
https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/mirrorlist?repo=updates-testing-f31&arch=x86_64
(http://download.eng.brq.redhat.com/pub/fedora/releases/31/ is not listed at all)

According to GlobalSync Team, repo should be synced properly and report_mirror script have ran. Can anybody help us with this?

Thanks a lot!

As with every release we are pointing users to the files under development/ for the first two weeks after the release to make sure mirrors have a lot of time to get the content. So if your mirror does not have development/31 it will not appear in the list of valid mirrors. We will change that probably today.

That's it, we removed development/31 and synced releases/31 as well. But why updates and updates-testing mirrorlist doesn't work? That's the same path the whole time.

I just tested it and your private mirror is the first on the list for a request from the list of IPs that mirror has listed as local netblocks. Seems to work right now. Can you retry?

Yeah, updates and updates-testing work just fine now.

Fedora repo, it still doesn't show up, but you probably didn't do the change to move the release from development?

Good.

No. Not yet. My previous comment was only about updates, because there is no reason for that to not work. So the things that should work are working.

For release there is still a manual step to do. This step will happen today.

Fixed. You should be redirected to your local mirror now.
