#8346 src.fp.o permissions error for python-pexpect package
Closed: Upstream 4 years ago by kevin. Opened 4 years ago by swt2c.

Miro granted me admin acls to the python-pexpect package earlier today. However, I'm unable to merge a pull request. I'm seeing this error:

Your task failed: Remote hook declined the push: Branch refs/heads/epel7 is unsupported Denied push for ref 'refs/heads/epel7' for user 'swt2c' All changes have been rejected

Can you look into this, please? Thanks.

Same thing happens when I try to push using fedpkg push

[talbert@deasil python-pexpect]$ fedpkg push
Total 0 (delta 0), reused 0 (delta 0)
remote: Branch refs/heads/epel7 is unsupported
remote: Denied push for ref 'refs/heads/epel7' for user 'swt2c'
remote: All changes have been rejected
To https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-pexpect.git
 ! [remote rejected] epel7 -> epel7 (pre-receive hook declined)
error: failed to push some refs to 'https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-pexpect.git'
Could not execute push: Failed to execute command.

Actually, looks like this branch may only exist in dist-git. It doesn't seem to be active in PDC and koji. I've requested a branch.

Please file this in the releng tracker: https://pagure.io/releng

The problem is that this package is marked end of life in epel7. I am not sure why, perhaps it was retired and readded?
