Hi,
I got +1 from my managers to spend some time on ODCS in Fedora. I would like to upgrade ODCs to latest version and as part of that also update its VMs to latest Fedora.
I'm therefore asking fedora-infra to recreate the VMs using the latest Fedora release:
Note that we have not touched ODCS in Fedora for long time sadly and I have no idea if the ansible playbooks will run successfully. As part of this upgrade, I need to rewrite parts of the playbook/role later.
So, the end goal for this ticket is to have new VMs running, it is expected that ODCS will just fail to install there for now. I plan to work on that right after the VMs are ready.

VMs were destroyed with:
ansible-playbook /srv/web/infra/ansible/playbooks/destroy_virt_inst.yml -e target=odcs_backend_stg,odcs_frontend_stg
RIP.
Stanging VMs have been reinstalled as Fedora 30. They should be up and running, reachable over SSH. However provisioning is not yet fully complete - Ansible playbook failed with:
TASK [odcs/backend : Make sure Python2 fedmsg-hub isn't running.] ********************************************************************************************* Wednesday 16 October 2019 09:50:55 +0000 (0:00:10.267) 0:17:22.920 ***** fatal: [odcs-backend01.stg.phx2.fedoraproject.org]: FAILED! => {"changed": false, "msg": "Could not find the requested service fedmsg-hub: host"}

Thanks Mikolaj, this issue is expected. I will work on this today and continue working on that during next week :).
