#8276 BZ: change email on our bot account: we can't do it
Closed: Invalid a month ago by ttomecek. Opened a month ago by ttomecek.

We've just got an email that our bot account has desynced email b/w BZ and FAS. I presume that some @redhat email is used in the BZ account b/c I can't even log in - which is why I'm writing this ticket: I can't log in to change it to fix the problem.

So, could you please change it?

BZ account: packit
FAS email: user-cont-team+packit-fas@redhat.com

Thank you!

I think you have that swapped no? The FAS account is 'packit' and it's email in fas is 'user-cont-team+packit-fas@redhat.com' which is what we try and sync to bugzilla.

There is a user-cont-team@redhat.com account in bugzilla, but I think you would need the full address for us to sync to it. ie, 'user-cont-team+packit-fas@redhat.com.

Do you have access to emails that go to that address? If so, ust go to bugzilla and create an account with that address.
If not, you will need to engage internal IP/bugzilla folks to change where that email goes, or change it in fas...

I know this process is confusing. If that doesn't explain it let me know and I will try again. :)

The biggest problem is that the email is @redhat and bugzilla wants me to use SSO and obviously we don't have a keytab for that email address.

Thanks, Kevin, I'll raise this internally.
