#8219 Outdated cert on download01.phx2.fedoraproject.org
Closed: Fixed 4 years ago by kevin. Opened 4 years ago by msuchy.

Try accessing:
https://download01.phx2.fedoraproject.org/

The SSL certificate has expired on 16. 8. 2019.

Can you please renew it?

Hmmm. dl01.fedoraproject.org works and is the same system.. so I don't know what certificate download01.phx2.fedoraproject.org is using. What systems are using the phx2 one?

Yeah, thats an internal only name you shouldn't be hitting.

Is there some need to access that from an internal phx2 machine? Or can you just use dl01.fedoraproject.org?

Retrace server uses it to fetch RPMs. See inventory/host_vars/retrace01.qa.fedoraproject.org in ansible.git
We are using http there, but I was trying to verify those url when I added F31 and because of HSTS I was redirected to https.

You should be able to use https://dl01.fedoraproject.org and it should be just as fast. I think the edge router knows when something is external and natted back.

I did some test downloads between the two and they were exactly the same. :)

Let us know if that doesn't work?
