#7955 Temporary sudo access to MBS in prod
Closed: Fixed 4 years ago by kevin. Opened 4 years ago by mprahl.

Hello,
Due to an MBS outage, there are a couple modules that are stuck. Could I please have temporary sudo access to mbs-backend01.phx2.fedoraproject.org, so that I can fix the issue?

sysadmin-mbs should have sudo there, and you are a member.

Can you try it and see if it has any issues? You will need a 2fa token in addition to your password: https://fedora-infra-docs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/sysadmin-guide/sops/2-factor.html

@kevin I only have sudo access to journalctl and systemctl as far as I know. I'd like to run a few lines of Python with sudo, so it can read from the MBS config which has restricted ACLs.

ok, I just changed this to allow sysadmin-mbs to just sudo.

Use your powers wisely.

@kevin okay, I'm done with this. Feel free to remove this access.
