When checking out a repository from dist-git, I sometimes get an error about non-existent repository. It was usually ascribed to network failures. But this time I saw this error inside Fedora infrastructure when performing a build in Koji. See https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=35457865 that fails with this error in checkout.log:
$ git clone -n https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/perl-IPC-System-Simple /var/lib/mock/module-perl-5.28-3020190610105826-eb1b2d95-build-16522150-1184977/root/chroot_tmpdir/scmroot/perl-IPC-System-Simple Cloning into '/var/lib/mock/module-perl-5.28-3020190610105826-eb1b2d95-build-16522150-1184977/root/chroot_tmpdir/scmroot/perl-IPC-System-Simple'... error: RPC failed; HTTP 404 curl 22 The requested URL returned error: 404 NOT FOUND fatal: the remote end hung up unexpectedly
Could make dist-git more reliable?

We aren't sure why this is happening sometimes and it's proved difficult to track down. Sorry for the trouble...
