When branching F30 or other, it seems the manifest file at https://src.fedoraproject.org/grokmirror/manifest.js.gz is not updated to take into account the new branches. Which means the packages' fingerprints are not identical to the client computed fingerprint, which is taking into account all the branches. This leads grokmirror clients to think our local mirror is not up-to-date and this endlessly reclone the git repos.
The manifest file needs to be rebuilt now and after any future branching.
Sorry about that. grokmirror only normally updates on commits/pushes... the branching process doesn't go through those hooks.
Note that hopefully very soon we will be switching our backend to repospanner, and hopefully it will be generating the grokmirror manifest, so it should be a lot more up to date and in sync that it is now.
