#7678 Copy old G+ data for Fedora to a safe archive
Closed: Fixed 4 years ago by kevin. Opened 5 years ago by pfrields.

  • Describe what you need us to do:
@bproffit has an archive of G+ data from Fedora's social presence there, which he downloaded since the service is shutting down. It would be helpful if this were retained somewhere sensible like the "odds and ends" archive.fp.o location (say, '/pub/alt/gplus' or something of that nature).

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    Not urgent, say 2019/04/30.

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)
N/A, we want to maintain this with other public archival data.

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
Minimal, although it's a pretty small request so hopefully not a concern.

Do you want/need this to be public/downloadable? Or just archived in case we want it?

Can you get me a copy of this data and let me know if you want it public or private?

@bproffit when you able can you get us the data?

@pfrields should I close until later?

Happy to archive the file if someone will get it to us. ;) @bproffit or @pfrields

Oddly, I was not getting the notifications. I am traveling now and the G+ data is on my work machine at the home office. I will deliver it to Kevin on Monday. Sorry for the excessive delay in response.

bproffit got me the data, it's on our netapp backup drive now.

:fire:
