#7566 Pagure tagged release .tar.gz download: Bad Request
Closed: Upstream by pingou. Opened by frantisekz.

  • Describe what you need us to do:
Fix the download link. When I try to click through pagure web ui and get to the fedora-qa/oraculum releases, I get this link to download latest oraculum release: https://pagure.io/fedora-qa/oraculum/archive/0.0.1/oraculum-0.0.1.tar.gz . That ends with "Bad Request , Invalid reference provided".

Project URL: https://pagure.io/fedora-qa/oraculum

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?

So, in this case, the issue is that there is download icon for each tagged release (even, if there is no manually uploaded tarball) which leads to a broken link. I was assuming pagure is going to generate tarball from tag automatically.

I was assuming pagure is going to generate tarball from tag automatically.

That is the idea :)

Note that this is a pagure bug not a fedora infra one, so it would be better reported at https://pagure.io/pagure :)
