I'm not sure if it was just one-time failure. Just submitting ticket so you are aware.

By the way, this failed whole module-build for me. So now I need to resubmit it and wait yet another few hours ;)

ok, I fear this is largely a network issue, so there's not too much we can do, that said I have done the following:

  • buildvm-s390x-07 was enabled in koji. This is the host that runs the varnish cache for the rest of them. I have disabled it in koji, so it can just do varnish and not also be hit by builds.

  • I increased a bunch of varnish timeouts, so it should try a lot harder to get things from the backend before giving up.

So, I am going to close this, but please re-open it if you see the backend fetch errors again and we can revisit.

Sorry for the issues, and hopefully it's better now.
