#7480 src.fp.o pagure token request
Closed: Fixed 5 years ago by ttomecek. Opened 5 years ago by ttomecek.

Describe what you need us to do:

Hello, I would like to request a src.fedoraproject.org pagure API token with these perms:

  • Read: project, pull requests, forks, users
  • Write: create pull requests, update my pull requests, add comments to pull requests

We don't want any perm which would affect dist-git (meaning, merging pull requests).

Currently, we are forced to juggle between three different tokens: user token, package token, fork's token (to create pulls).

We would use this token for project called source-git. We are planning to describe the project in detail at DevConf.cz. I've already discussed the project with @pfrields, @pingou and briefly with @bowlofeggs.

When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)
2019/01/31

When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)
2019/05/30

If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
I'll be more annoying and ping you directly.

@pingou can you setup this token?

I can sure do it.

@ttomecek could you upload a gpg key to your FAS account so I can email you the token once created?

I added my key id to FAS and uploaded my public key to keys.gnupg.net. Not sure if Fedora has keyserver on its own -- I wasn't able to find any docs. Please let me know whether you can access my public key.

Thanks, will get on this shortly :)

  • Read: project, pull requests, forks, users

You should not need an API token for these

  • Write: create pull requests, update my pull requests, add comments to pull requests

I can create an API token for:
- Create a PR
- Comment on PR

I'm not sure what you mean with update my PR

PS: I had forgot, but the API token are directly created for you, so they are accessible in the pagure UI, no need to send them by email :)

By updating my PR I probably meant changing a PR title and a description.

I checked https://src.fedoraproject.org/settings#nav-api-tab and I can't see any new tokens, only those I created.

Ah, that's why I wasn't finding it, it scheduled for 5.4 https://pagure.io/pagure/issue/4111 so we don't have it yet, is that a problem?

I was waiting for your answer on the edit PR point, I've just created the token with create and comment on PRs.

That's awesome! I can see the token, thank you very much!
