Since we are not running/maintaining statscache we should retired the rpms packages.

IMHO this is not Fedora Infrastructure issue. It is entirely up to package maintainers to retire the package or keep maintaining it. Others may be using statscache even if we are not.

This package is mostly maintained by the @infra-sig, that's why I opened a ticket here.

A proper place for such request would be Red Hat Bugzilla.
