#7308 Change Freenode ChanServ configuration for #fedora-latam
Closed: Fixed 5 years ago Opened 5 years ago by jflory7.

  • Describe what you need us to do:

A Telegram bridge bot was added to #fedora-latam on IRC. The IRC channel needs configuration changes to add rules for voiced users (like was applied somewhat recently in other Fedora channels):

  • /query ChanServ SET mlock #fedora-latam +Ccnt
  • /query ChanServ ACCESS #fedora-latam ADD fedlatam-tg*!nodebot@nat/redhat/* +V
  • /query ChanServ ACCESS #fedora-latam ADD *!*@gateway/* +V
  • /query ChanServ ACCESS #fedora-latam ADD *!fm*@nat/redhat/* +V

I worked with another channel OP, @tatica, to do this, but her flags are not high enough to change the ChanServ configuration. Currently, @spot and @kevin are also channel operators.

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)

As soon as possible.

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)

Useful any time.

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?

Fedora LATAM communities on IRC and Telegram are isolated from each other

Done.

Let us know if you need anything else.

Looks like someone got to it before I could, as these settings were
already in place.
