Describe what you need us to do: It would be nice if we developed a solution for keeping logs from OpenShift pods even after they stop running. This is useful for investigating historical issues, and may also be useful for auditing purposes.
When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD) No due date.
When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD) If we stop using OpenShift, or if OpenShift itself gains this feature.
If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact? We won't be able to investigate logs of dead pods to learn what happened to them.
So, we now have https://kibana.app.os.stg.fedoraproject.org/app/kibana in stg.
It's pretty detailed, and not sure if it's going to be great for what you want or not, but do take a look.
ok, we now have Elasticsearch/Fluentd/Kibana in both stg and prod and they are backed by a persistent nfs volume.
