    It would be nice if we developed a solution for keeping logs from OpenShift pods even after they stop running. This is useful for investigating historical issues, and may also be useful for auditing purposes.

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    No due date.

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    If we stop using OpenShift, or if OpenShift itself gains this feature.

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
    We won't be able to investigate logs of dead pods to learn what happened to them.

So, we now have https://kibana.app.os.stg.fedoraproject.org/app/kibana in stg.

It's pretty detailed, and not sure if it's going to be great for what you want or not, but do take a look.

ok, we now have Elasticsearch/Fluentd/Kibana in both stg and prod and they are backed by a persistent nfs volume.
