Issue #7179: SSL invalid for https://www.getfedora.org/ - fedora-infrastructure

Describe what you need us to do:
The SSL cert that the web server provides for https://www.getfedora.org/ does not match the "www.getfedora.org" hostname.

$ curl https://www.getfedora.org/
curl: (51) SSL: no alternative certificate subject name matches target host name 'www.getfedora.org'

If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
Several 3rd-party sites, like https://medium.com/@wizofe/how-i-installed-fedora-27-on-my-high-sierra-macbook-pro-15-80616909f294 , link to this URL.

yeah they don't have the www part.. it's just https://getfedora.org

In that case, it would be great to drop the "www" entry from DNS

Done. Was there somewhere you saw www.getfedora.org listed?

Or just random muscle memory trying www?

It's the blog post I linked above. I don't know if that blog author used www, or if Medium automatically added it to his link, or what :)
