Running dnf update on my system failed for a while now with the error "Failed to synchronize cache for repo 'updates'". It turns out that this was due to the fact that the mirror fedora.aau.at is broken. The file http://fedora.aau.at/linux/updates/28/Everything/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml contains a link to a file that does not exist.
dnf update
Sorry for the delay here, but now it seems they have synced back up...
at least the repodata here looks like it was from friday...
If it's still not working, please reopen this and we can disable the mirror and talk with them about syncing, but it seems like it might be back now.

It appears to me that the mirror is still broken. Are we seeing the same thing? repomd.xml contains the following line: But the file does not exist. The file that is on the mirror is http://fedora.aau.at/linux/updates/28/Everything/x86_64/repodata/9fb302cfef1180b7814bb465e259154387bad8f5b9da3e44dc0b867cd1515d4e-primary.xml.gz

ok. I see what you are seeing now.
I have disabled the mirror and mailed the admins to look into why it's not syncing.
Thanks for reporting it!
