#7159 pkgs.fp.o has invalid CA certificate
Closed: Fixed Opened by ankursinha.

  • Describe what you need us to do:
Someone on #fedora reported that pkgs.fp.o has an invalid CA certificate. (I could't verify, it won't even load for me)

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    Whenever convenient

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    NA

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
More reports, bad user experience (I guess?)

Why did that person want to access pkgs.fp.o? All user facing content is available via src.fp.o. So if pkgs.fp.o is advertised at somewhere, this would need to be changed.

I think he found a link somewhere, yeh, but I don't remember where it was from any more. :(

ok, this is now fixed once and for all.

I did a quick check. There are quite a few wiki pages referring to pkgs.fp.o even now:
