#6857 pstoedit "Give project" did not transfer all permissions
Closed: Fixed 5 years ago Opened 5 years ago by skisela.

  • Describe what you need us to do:
jpopelka gave the project [1] to me. According to web UI I am the admin( and the only commiter obviously) but when trying to push to the repo I get:
FATAL: W any rpms/pstoedit skisela DENIED by fallthru
(or you mis-spelled the reponame)
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.
Could not execute push: Command '['git', 'push']' returned non-zero exit status 128

while jpopelka is still able to push to the repository [2] which is obviously incorrect.

Please transfer the package fully to me as it was intended.

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)
No hurry at all, should be doable in minutes though.

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    It will always be.

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
    Package loses maintanance.

I don't have the root cause but I fixed the symptom. You should be able to use the git repo as expected and jpopelka no longer :)

Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for the heads up
