#6760 wrong watch settings migrated from pkgdb
Closed: Upstream 5 years ago Opened 6 years ago by till.

In pkgdb I did not have any watchacls for active branches: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/package/rpms/offlineimap

But in src.fpo I am (was) watching offlineimap. A long time ago I maintained offlineimap so I guess the wrong settings were migrated from pkgdb to src.fpo. Related questtions:

Does the UI show how is watching which projects? I do not see a list of watchers at https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/offlineimap

Also I do not see a list of watched projects at https://src.fedoraproject.org/user/till

Looking at https://src.fedoraproject.org/api/0/rpms/offlineimap/watchers you are listed as watching this project for both issues and tickets.

You should be able to see you status in the drop-down menu on the "eye" icon at the top right, just under your avatar.

Is there a way to list all watchers for a particular package? Or all package/watchers for all packages?

This may be the same thing that happened/is happening to Bastien, but at this point I don't think we want to re-sync anything from pkgdb, instead can we provide tools to easily see all the things you are watching and unset those that you don't want?

That's the URL I used above

Or all package/watchers for all packages?

Depending on which watch* status you're looking for, we have https://src.fedoraproject.org/extras/ that is used by the script syncing to bugzilla for example

Well, what I would like here is:

a) a easy way to see all the things I am watching. I don't currently see that in extras, the ui or anywhere

and then

b) some easy way to say 'remove all these watches' or 'add all these watches'. I am not sure how to do that unless the api allows it and there's some command line tool (perhaps 'fedpkg watch' ?).

That's https://pagure.io/pagure/issue/2421 upstream

This is https://pagure.io/pagure/issue/3205

The api to set/unset watchers is in place already now, the 'list all that I watch' isn't yet, but lets track it upstream?
