The Fedora product in Bugzilla has a component called "libstdc++so7" which is a long-since retired package that existed in the ancient history of Fedora Core. The only person who gets CC'd on those reports is the line manager of the former Red Hat engineer who used to own that package (but has since left Red Hat and stopped working on Fedora).

Users keep reporting bugs against that component when they should be using the "gcc" component, which means that the relevant maintainers don't see the bug report. I can't even CC myself on bug reports, because the package doesn't exist on src.fedoraproject.org.

Could you please do one of (in order of preference):

• Delete/deactivate/hide the component entirely.
• Automatically change the component to 'gcc' when 'libstdc++so7' is used.
• Rename the component to something like "[DEAD PACKAGE, USE 'gcc' INSTEAD] libstdc++so7".
• Make me the owner of the component.
• Add me to the CC list for the component.

If there's another more suitable option please let me know. The key point is that we want to stop users from sending bug reports to /dev/null by choosing a dead package.
