Hi,
I'd like to do a public proof-of-concept/demo for the Amber project:
https://fedorahosted.org/amber/wiki
Mike McGrath via email suggested that publictest10 might be suitable for my needs. I don't know. Here are the modules I'm using:
git, turbogears, sqlalchemy, genshi, postres, python-docutils, python-amara, python-cpio, python-fedora
Thanks,
-RN
Here's a properly filled out RFR form:
Name: Robin Norwood
Fedora Account Name: rnorwood
Group: Desktop?
Infrastructure Sponsor: lmacken
Project Name: Amber
Target Audience: Fedora users (primarily desktop users)
Expiration/Delivery Date (required): Is ASAP an acceptable response? If not, let's say 7/15/2008.
Description/Summary: Amber is an application database. The goal is to provide a nice web UI for users to find new applications for their Fedora systems, and install them.
Project plan (Detailed): https://fedorahosted.org/amber/wiki/Definition
Goals: https://fedorahosted.org/amber/wiki/Scope
Specific resources needed: See initial comment. Eventually, we will probably need a place to host the entire deployed app.
Also, I'm working on pylucene support for search - so java bits as well as pylucene may eventually be needed. (pylucene isn't packaged for fedora yet)
I don't have the access to formally sponsor this, but as I deployed the elections app via wsgi I'd be more than happy to assist.
Let's get you set up on publictest15.fedoraproject.org.
You should have an account there now and sudo. supervisor is running if you need to setup to run cherrypy behind that. mod_wsgi is installed if you want to use that instead.
ping me on IRC if you need help (abadger1999) and we'll work out any difficulties.
Closing this ticket since publictest15 is all setup for use.
