This is very similar to https://pagure.io/releng/issue/7275, but about https://src.fedoraproject.org/lookaside/git-seed-latest.tar.xz.

That file is about 8.8G and re-downloading it every week is not very nice. Instead it would be nice if you would run casync over all git repos (casync is compressing its chunks using zstd so compression rate would be about same), but would allow easier sync for people by just downloading deltas.

It should be pretty simple to implement this, but I don't know where those scripts are located.

I have implemented grokmirror, but need to document and announce it.

I think this might be a better solution. Will update this when I have time.

There's a few current issues with it, but we are working on fixing those up.
