While looking into an issue for fedora-packages: https://github.com/fedora-infra/fedora-packages/issues/229#issuecomment-358902529 I ran https://apps.fedoraproject.org/datagrepper/raw?topic=org.fedoraproject.prod.mdapi.repo.update which shows the last message is from 5 months (!) ago.

We should add nagios monitoring to datanommer for mdapi messages (like we do for other apps).

The underlying issue has been fixed, it was a fedmsg bug that is apparently fixed upstream (in a different way than what I used but it's fine).
Updating fedmsg on these box may be a good idea, if it doesn't break other things.

On fedmsg, I assume thats for mdapi? I'm all for updating it if it avoids this issue again...
