I am not sure there is much we can do here in the end...

• The url should be http://fedoraplanet.org

• It's not going to be https because lots of the content there is http, so if we had it ssl browsers would just complain about that.

• We are redirecting that url (both http and https) planet.fedoraproject.org to fedoraplanet.org, but since the ssl cert is bad it's never going to the redirect.

Where did you see the link to planet.fedoraproject.org?

I guess we could either just get a letsencrypt cert here for redirecting (since they are free) or, we could just stop answering the domain entirely.

It wasn't actually myself who hit it. It was an IRC user in #fedora so I opened up this for them once I confirmed the issue. Patrick later informed me about the new URL which I've past on to the user.

We now have this redirecting with the proper ssl cert... which I think is the best we can do.
