#6438 Joining wikiedit
Closed: Fixed 6 years ago Opened 6 years ago by unbz2012.

Trying to join the group wikiedit.
The info page said to launch a ticket on pagure so here i am.
I'd like to be able to work on the wiki but i am not a member of a non-cla group.

Can you tell us what kinds of things you plan on working on on the wiki?

We prefer folks working in specific areas to join those groups... ie, if you plan to work on qa pages, join qa, etc... wikiedit is for people who don't fit into any existing group or area...

Sure Kevin,

I've been using Fedora since I was introduced to the Schrodinger's Cat beta by some friends.
Since then I've kinda considered myself an ambassador for Linux and Fedora to the younger generation that I'm a part of. I've introduced 6 of my friends to it and I've even proposed converting my high school to Fedora 25.
The major complaint I get from my new users is that they don't understand basic commands or how to play around with rpms. I'd like to work on making the Wiki more 'new kid on the block' friendly.

I'm not exactly sure where to start, but I am willing to take assignments if you or anyone else more experienced than I sees room for improvement on the wiki.
If you could either drop me into this group or another that I'd be more helpful to, please do.

Thanks!
Erik Hearne

Sorry for the delay here.. this dropped off my radar. :broken_heart:

I've added you to the group so you can make some edits.

However, I'd suggest if you can introducing yourself on the docs list. The docs folks have been working on some more accessable documention and could really use more folks helping out.

Thanks!
