The Elections app in production is behind from the current version in the repository and needs to be updated.
A while back, @ryanlerch did a UI overhaul on the website, and some other small typos / fixes have been pushed upstream. It would be nice to get this deployed while an election isn't happening, and to possibly do a test election in a staging instance.
Last month, @pingou confirmed he would take this on.

2.7 has been deployed to stg: https://admin.stg.fedoraproject.org/voting
Do we want to push to prod now or wait for after F27 GA?
(if there are no elections scheduled I think I'd prefer to wait)
Elections for F27 start on 2017-Oct-24 with collecting questions for Questionnaire. The more detailed schedule is available at https://fedorapeople.org/groups/schedule/f-27/f-27-elections.html . I would prefer to deploy the app on Monday 2017-Oct-23, if no issue appears in the staging env.
Election seems to not be frozen, but out of principle I'd rather that we deploy on Friday than on the day just before an election.
Worst case, since this release is really just UI changes, it should be straight forward to downgrade.
@jkurik btw, would you have some time to test stg? @jflory7 and you?
I would like to spent some time on it during Thursday morning (CEST).
I'd rather that we deploy on Friday than on the day just before an election.
Thanks @pingou, Friday is OK with me .
I won't have time to test it this week, sorry. :frowning:
I think this is now done in prod... let us know if there's anything further to do here.
