Closed: Fixed 6 years ago Opened 6 years ago by bowlofeggs.

On Thursday I sent an e-mail reply to https://pagure.io/Fedora-Badges/issue/560 but the comment never made it onto the issue. Here is the full e-mail, as recorded in my sent box:

I doubt there is a fedmsg directly for this, but there are fedmsgs when
spec files are changed. We could make something that looks for those
fedmsgs and analyzed the diff to see if there is a +Epoch line?

@pingou Any ideas there?

Seeing the hash not matching, I'd like to confirm something.

@bowlofeggs is your email address exlectronsweatshop linked to your account on pagure?

@pingou Yes, I see both my electronsweatshop.com and my fpo address in my Pagure
settings.

Also, I tried to reply to this issue with both addresses, and neither reply seems to have made it here.

@bowlofeggs let's try to do a test while we're both on IRC so I can tail the logs precisely :)

ok, sounds like this was tracked down to pagure being very picky about email replies. It expects replies only from the exact email that it sent to. @pingou is already fixing this to be more flexable upstream.

I'm gonna close this one out now. Feel free to reopen if you feel this is in error or there is more to do here.
