The old mailman had the option to whitelist people's email addresses (accept sent email + whitelist sender) to allow them send mails to a list, now I had to always "accept" all messages in "Held messages" sent by non-subscribed people.
Can you add a header filter for these?
Header is From: and Pattern is the users address and action is accept?
If that doesn't work, not sure what to suggest.
@abompard any ideas?

ok, I've set that, will see if it works

I would definitely prefer the button (and checkbox) in the old web UI :-)

There is a feature in Mailman core to handle this case (whitelisting) but it is not exposed in the Postorius UI. There is an upstream bug to track this : https://gitlab.com/mailman/postorius/issues/98 and an associated merge request, but it hasn't been updated in a while. :-/
Yup, it exactly describes my problem :-)
@sharkcz I guess the sort of not ideal work around right now would be to subscribe them, set them to nomail for the list. But then they would get a welcome email. ;(
