When a package is approved, you request a new repo with fedrepo-req and then wait a little while for an admin to get to it. You know when this has happened because you get two emails, one for the request and one on Bugzilla. But while you can now clone and upload specs, you can't produce a build until the package is added to the tag or else you get FAILED: BuildError: package name not in list for tag f28-pending.

This has come up several times: #6236, 4 more packages here (still waiting), on IRC:

Twenty of my packages were accepted 8 hours ago and I can't build any of them.

There is no notification that the package is added to the tag; it is my understanding there should be a fedmsg listener that does it almost immediately so it shouldn't be needed. It seems that is clearly not the case.

@ralph if you have any idea for this one :)

Now at 18 hours that this repo was created and still no luck.

The issue mentioned above is for f28, that nirik resolved somehow and i was able to see f28 in koji list-pkgs and fedpkg build succeed.

I Also requested for branches: f27, f26, f25, epel7 before 13 hours, but i am not able to run: fedpkg build against these branches.

I think i should see other branches here to run fedpkg build.

For me it's resolved somehow, i am able to create build. Just created for f27:-https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=21525659.

Right. @ralph is working on tracking down where the immediate script is failing.

I have two new packages, python-ludolph and python-zabbix-api-erigones, that fail to build with the error:

BuildError: package python-ludolph not in list for tag f28-pending
BuildError: package python-zabbix-api-erigones not in list for tag f28-pending

I have tried again in the morning (in 12h) and both builds (python-ludolph and python-zabbix-api-erigones) went fine.

I have requested branches (f27) for both packages (python-ludolph and python-zabbix-api-erigones) and after 24h build is still failing:

BuildError: package python-zabbix-api-erigones not in list for tag f27-updates-candidate

I'm getting this error for Parfait as well:
FAILED: BuildError: package parfait not in list for tag f28-pending

@ricco and @lberk I have fixed the packages you mention manually.

Good news though: we think we know what the problem is with the automated script and hopefully will have a fix soon. :wine_glass:

I have got this error in few days ago. Now the package golang-deepin-dbus-factory-devel build pass in Koji, but it's still not available with Rawhide. Could you solve it? @kevin @releng

Seems to have broken again. ghc-x509-system and ghc-x509-validation were both created 5 hours ago, but I can't build either of them due to missing tags.

This was due to a crl issue. I've fixed it up and fixed those two packages. There likely are some more, but they should get fixed by the daily run that starts soon...

I'm having the same problem with: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/golang-github-dchest-siphash, created 9 hours ago:

I think this may have to do with the fedorainfracloud outage today (also see the problem with ghc-tls from today).

FYI, this was related I think to a fedmsg issue we had a few days ago.

It should be all clear now and I see all the mentioned packages in as expected.

Is this broken again? Everything I've added in the past two or three days has not been in f28-pending until late into the night (presumably when the daily script is run).
