#6291 Retire rpms/perl-PDL-Graphics-PLplot in F28
Closed: Fixed 6 years ago Opened 6 years ago by ppisar.

I need to retire rpms/perl-PDL-Graphics-PLplot in F27 and F28.

I run fedpkg retire in F27 branch successfully the package is indeed blocked in Koji and in inactivated in PDC. But for some reason it did not had any effect on F28 as used to have.

I merged the retiring F27 commit to master and pushed and no effect. Then I run fedpkg retire in master. It printed "nothing to do" and indeed no effect. Then I reverted the retiring commit in master and run fedpkg retire again. Well, not effect either.

I still get broken dependencies report for F28 and, what's interesting, PDC does not know neither f28 neither master branch for the component.

Please retire rpms/perl-PDL-Graphics-PLplot in F28 because I'm unable do that.

Same problem with aether-ant-tasks - I retired it in both f28 and f27, but it's blocked only in f27.

OK, thinking out loud here.

The dead.package file worked in master for rpms/perl-PDL-Graphics-PLplot. Good.

At that point, pdc-updater should have caught the message and removed the EOL in PDC. If I look here it seems like that worked correctly.

The last step is the block_retired.py script in the releng repo. Looks like the bug is in there.

PR #7001 should fix blocking in rawhide. Let's see if it fixes the problem.

It did fix it.

The packages I see here are correctly blocked in f28 now.

:beers:
