I'm afraid we don't have a easy way to rename accounts.

You can however:

• Remove your email and other info from your old account
• Mark it 'inactive'
• Create your new account
• ask sponsors to re-sponsor your new account back into your groups.

So I went to https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Account_System/NewAccount and it told me to create a new account, start by clicking https://admin.fedoraproject.org/accounts/user/new

https://admin.fedoraproject.org/accounts/user/new gives me an error:
Proxy Error

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request

Reason: DNS lookup failure for: os-node02.vpn.fedoraproject.org

Apache Server at admin.fedoraproject.org Port 443

Is FAS still in active use/the preferred account system for fedora stuff?

@bcrook that is the right place... I am not sure why it was showing as down there... can you please try again and let us know if the problem is persisting?
