#6141 Requesting hosting location for reg-server
Closed: Fixed 6 years ago Opened 6 years ago by maxamillion.

In order to deliver a simple UI on top of our Container Registry (registry.fedoraproject.org), I would like to use reg-server, which is now packaged for Fedora and available in the repos.

I'm looking for somewhere in the infrastructure to install the service, apply an html template via ansible for the WebUI to include a small amount of Fedora Atomic WG information, and then put it behind the proxies.

I'm happy to do the work of making changes to the ansible playbooks in Fedora Infra, but I'd like advisement on where would be an appropriate place to host this.

We should probably just run this in a cron job to generate a new version every X minutes (upstream got a --once flag just for that purpose), and then sync the generated content out to the proxies.
Unfortunately, we can't use sundries because this need to run on Fedora.

Looks like sundries did work out (at least looking at commits?)

Is this all set now?

Kinda... :).
We did get it working on RHEL, but Adam is now working on a patch to make it generate everything statically.
For the time being, I think we can consider the infra side of things done.
