For example:
https://apps.fedoraproject.org/datagrepper/raw?topic=org.fedoraproject.prod.buildsys.task.state.change
https://apps.fedoraproject.org/datagrepper/raw?category=buildsys
both gives 500 error.

I did a db vacuum and things seem better here... both those links now load for me (all be it somewhat slowly).

We are likely going to try and start archiving old years of datagrepper in order to make the database more manageable.
