OK, I think I found why. That's probably because you're listed in the list owners and in the list moderators. Apparently the notification is sent to both groups without de-duplication. I'll check with the code itself, but in the meantime can you remove yourself from the moderators group and see if you still get duplicate notifications?

thanks, I confirm that I don't get two notification anymore if I remove my email address from the moderator list.

now that you identified this is because the email is send to both owner and moderator:

both email are send to "trans-fr-owner@lists.fedoraproject.org"
=> at least, I assume one of the email should be send trans-fr-moderator (so we understand the cause of this double email)
