#5882 Tag bodhi-2.4.0-3.el7 into the infra-testing repository
Closed: Fixed 7 years ago Opened 7 years ago by bowlofeggs.

Hello!

I was talking with @nirik today about ways to get Bodhi's staging /docs/ endpoint configured in a less terrible way. The problem is that the documentation package is installed to /usr/share/doc/bodhi-docs-2.4.0 on EL 7 (it's installed to /usr/share/doc/bodhi-docs on Fedora). This means that it is difficult or maybe impossible to set an Alias httpd directive that will continue to work as the docs package gets upgraded over time.

@nirik suggested shipping an httpd config with bodhi that has this set correctly which was a great idea. However, Bodhi actually does already ship an httpd config file and Fedora's ansible script overwrites it. Then it occurred to me that I could just distribute an httpd config snippet in a .include file with the package. With this, the Ansible config can just Include /etc/httpd/conf.d/bodhi-docs.include and that file will automatically be kept up to date as the RPM ages.

I've made that change in dist-git and I have built the package in Koji.

Could someone tag this package into the infra-testing repository so I can install it on staging and update the staging docs to use this version for testing? I do not plan to deploy this to production during the freeze.

Done. Should be in in the next repo run at :40 after the hour.
