It's about 10 days or so I receive notifications about tickets even one hour (or more) later. Before that, notifications arrived almost immediately. This happens for fedorahosted tickets but also for pagure issues, so I guess it is not app related.
Also, I noticed, cron is not sending out notifications at all (at least to me). For example I don't have any notice from the website builder since 10 days. Just wanted to add that, as it might be related to the main issue.
Thanks Robert
As far as I can find in our logs, you might be receiving too many emails. We're getting reports from Gmail:
Feb 25 15:23:43 bastion01 postfix/smtp[25752]: 70E366347A63: host gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com[173.194.175.27] said: 450-4.2.1 The user you are trying to contact is receiving mail at a rate that 450-4.2.1 prevents additional messages from being delivered. Please resend your 450-4.2.1 message at a later time. If the user is able to receive mail at that 450-4.2.1 time, your message will be delivered. For more information, please 450-4.2.1 visit 450 4.2.1 https://support.google.com/mail/?p=ReceivingRate j63si8107933qkc.124 - gsmtp (in reply to RCPT TO command)
So I will need to unsubscribe from some ML? (I don't think that helps) Did you ever crossed this kind of thing? Is there anything I can do to resolve that? Again, other than unsubscribing from MLs.
You need to make sure you get less emails. Either tune down notifications, tune down mailing lists, or tune down emails you get from somewhere else. This receiving limit is per receiving account (you), for every email sender out there sending you emails.
https://support.google.com/mail/answer/22839 should give some more information.
Yes I've read this yesterday indeed, but most of my mails are from MLs as admin, ansible or things like that. I didn't find any setting to silent them.
Thanks a bunch for investigating, I was not aware of these limits.
