Hello, here is a patch for dist-git role in ansible.git to use the latest dist-git upstream package from https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/clime/dist-git/ but only in staging environment. It is mainly intended for testing now. Let me know what you think. <img alt="0001-use-devel-dist-git-upstream.patch" src="/fedora-infrastructure/issue/raw/files/8f504f991b422cb3c230c8fe047cc3455e8d6d8a8c42103b9288dbbf101f4260-0001-use-devel-dist-git-upstream.patch" />
Do note that using packages from COPR is not acceptable in our production infrastructure. For staging, it's reluctantly allowed, but it's a total no-go for production. Can you please package it for Fedora, or at least indicate you started that process?
I have made a PR against https://github.com/release-engineering/dist-git, which is being reviewed right now. I am going to start the packaging process immediately after merge.
Looks ok to me... only trivial nitpick is that you have pkgdb2-clone in there twice. Could just drop the only in stg conditional and always install it in the first place. But perhaps you are thinking you might run into more stg only stuff you want to install, so thats fine.
That's true. Here is a corrected version.
