@maxamillion and I are planning to replace registry.fedoraproject.org with fegistry, once it is ready for production. When we do this, we will still need a domain name for the current registry that is running at registry.fedoraproject.org. Once fegistry is deployed, we had planned on using the name stable-registry.fedoraproject.org to reference the current registry instance.

It would be slightly handy for development if stable-registry.fpo existed now, as that is the default setting in fegistry.
