The elfutils project used to be hosted at fedorahosted but given the shutdown later this year we moved to sourceware. To make the transition smoother for our users we would like you to keep the git repository and the mailing list archives available for now, but to redirect most other resources to their new location on sourceware.

  • If possible please hide elfutils from the project lists at
    https://fedorahosted.org/web/ and
    https://git.fedorahosted.org/cgit/

  • http://fedorahosted.org/elfutils/ should be redirected to
    https://sourceware.org/elfutils/

  • The wiki pages under http://fedorahosted.org/elfutils/wiki/ should be redirected to
    https://sourceware.org/elfutils/ (note, no wiki in the path at the new location).

  • http://git.fedorahosted.org/cgit/elfutils.git and
    http://git.fedorahosted.org/git/elfutils.git should redirect to
    https://sourceware.org/git/elfutils.git

  • http://fedorahosted.org/releases/e/l/elfutils/ (and everything under it) should redirect to
    https://sourceware.org/elfutils/ftp/

https://git.fedorahosted.org/git/elfutils.git redirects to "https://sourceware.org/git/elfutils.git$i"
The "$i" at the end shouldn't be there.

Could you make it so that http://fedorahosted.org/elfutils/wiki/xxx redirects to http://sourceware.org/elfutils/XXX so that people having bookmarked the pages in the wiki get at the new location (all wiki pages were migrated under http://sourceware.org/elfutils/ with their original name).

If that is impossible could you redirect everything under http://fedorahosted.org/elfutils/wiki/ to http://sourceware.org/elfutils/OldWikiIndex

Could you make it so that everything under https://fedorahosted.org/releases/e/l/elfutils/ redirects to the full new path under https://sourceware.org/elfutils/ftp/
So for example https://fedorahosted.org/releases/e/l/elfutils/0.167/elfutils-0.167.tar.bz2 would redirect to https://sourceware.org/elfutils/ftp/0.167/elfutils-0.167.tar.bz2

This is for scripts that check the integrity for old downloads.
