#5473 Create a fedorapeople group to store RISC-V RPMs (temporarily)
Closed: Fixed None Opened 7 years ago by rjones.

We would like a place to store Fedora/RISC-V RPMs and SRPMs. This is "temporarily" which means until Fedora/RISC-V can become an official experimental architecture, but that could be a few years away. It was suggested that we use:

https://fedorapeople.org/groups/

This needs access from a few, possibly changing, FAS users. Do we also need to create a corresponding group in FAS?

Sure, we can help you out here.

We could do this without a fas group and just acls, but a fas group is likely more simple to manage.

Shall I call the directory and fas group 'risc-v' ?

"risc-v" sounds good. I think a FAS group will be more flexible because it will allow us to add FAS users to the group.

Done.

There is now a /project/risc-v/ directory on fedorapeople.org, owned by you and the risc-v fas group.

You should be able to add folks to the fas group to allow them write access to the dir.

Let us know if there's anything else we can assist with.
