The [https://pagure.io/group/CommOps CommOps group] should be renamed to '''fedora-commops'''.

This change fits in with other groups in Pagure, identifies association with Fedora, and removes capital letters from the name.

= implementation recommendation =

Not sure if this is just a database change or something else, or how exactly complex this is.

Changing this means:

  • udpating the DB
  • renaming the git repos

Nothing too hard but this change will some consequences:

  • Existing repo will no longer work (push/pull), so everyone will have to either re-clone or edit their .git/config
  • The URL will change, meaning each link ever sent pointing to this repo will not lead to a 404 error.

If you are ok with these consequences, I can take care of this.

Is this for a group or for a repo? I was looking at just getting the name of a group changed, not a particular repository.

Oups, sorry I missed that we were talking about a group not a project.
