= bug description = We're seeing broken footer for lists 389-users, 389-devel, 389-commits: {{{ 389 users mailing list 389-users@%(host_name)s http://lists.fedoraproject.org/admin/lists/389-users@lists.fedoraproject.org }}}
We tried to replaced host_name with mail_host. Here's the quote from email conversation with the list admin (rmeggins@): {{{ https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/admin/389-users/nondigest In the footer, I changed host_name to mail_host and I got this error:
Warning: The following illegal substitution variables were found in the msg_footer string: mail_host
Your list may not operate properly until you correct this problem.
If I use the other interface instead: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/admin/lists/389-users.lists.fedoraproject.org/
I do not see an option for footer.
So maybe the new mailer somehow can use the settings from the old one? }}}

I forgot to mention, that I subscribed to 389-commits and welcome email generated from the template had all python strings correctly replaced.
Footer template editing is not yet available in the new interface, that's a known missing feature at the moment. But it can be edited by a server admin, so I just edited those footer templates. It should be fixed now, sorry for the wait, and please re-open the ticket if it's not.
