I'm owner of perl-maint@lists.fedoraproject.org list. I received a moderation request via e-mail. The request allows discard the moderated post by a reply. The reply has to contain a confirmation token. I replied, and got a refusal:

This used to work with Mailman 2.

It looks like a bug, I've investigated it a bit and opened the following upstream bug: https://gitlab.com/mailman/mailman/issues/169.
I'll keep you informed of the evolution of this issue, thanks a lot for reporting.
