#4891 Hosting docs.cockpit-project.org at Fedora Hosted
Closed: Fixed None Opened 8 years ago by stefw.

= bug description =

We would like to request hosting of a docs.cockpit-project.org at Fedora Hosted. The contents will contain Cockpit documentation, some of which will move from here:

http://files.cockpit-project.org/guide/latest/index.html

  1. We would like to host as a docker container.

  2. We would like the following Fedora accounts to have access to the docker container.
    * stefw
    * dperpeet
    * cockpit
    * pvolpe
    * mvollmer

Patrick Uiterwijk has some understanding of our needs here.

After discussing with Stef, we decided that for now they would just like file upload and serving storage tied to this domain.

I will setup the storage and virtual host to listen to it.

I am pretty sure fedorahosted will not work for this at all. :(

Perhaps a docs repo at pagure.io would work better?

So, would a pagure.io docs instance work for this? I don't know that we want a one off host for this kind of thing and hosted is ill suited to it.

If this won't work that's okay. We've found other interim solutions. We now host our documentation at github and our images at fedorapeople.

I hope it's okay if I close this request.
