Yeah, this is due to planet being on fedorapeople.org.

planet.fedorapeople.org should work and have the right cert.

I'm not sure it's going to be easy to get planet.fedoraproject.org to work as we would have to put that cert/key on that machine which I don't like.

I'm ok with any solution even if it stays like this (not that I can decide what will happen ;-), it is not a big problem, if possible to solve it in future it will be good, if it stays like this still OK. When I saw it I thought something is not configured correctly ... so I asked on #fedora-admin, and someone confirmed that it happens for him too, and that I can file infra ticket.

We talked it over and came up with a solution... we are going to get a new cert for just planet.fedoraproject.org and set it up. That way our wildcard cert isn't installed on fedorapeople and everything should be valid. ;)

ok, this is implemented now.

Note: some browsers (and possibly some rss readers) will complain because there's non https content on the page, but this is something we can't fix as it's everyone's feed and some/many of those may be http only.
