#4470 Not getting e-mails from fedorahosted tracs
Closed: Fixed None Opened 9 years ago by churchyard.

When someone posts a comment to a fedorahosted trac ticked I've created or commented, I've used to get e-mail. Now I don't (for at least a month).

Once I complained on fedora-badges trac and Ralph've done some magic, so I get e-mails, but only form fedora-badges.

Please ping me when you send comments here.

BTW for some weird reason, I've got e-mails from thsi one.

I don't get e-mails from rel-eng and fesco (and maybe more).

Can you go into those trac's and click on the 'preferences' link at the top and see if it has anything for you in 'email' field?

It might be you logged into those tracs long ago and it created you an account without the proper email address linkage.

If that field is blank, can you fill it in and save and see if they start appearing?

It lists my e-mail address. I've resubmitted the form, maybe it'll help.

Ralph, what did you do on badges trac to help me?

I've resubmitted the form, maybe it'll help.

It didn't.

Is this still happening?

Can you ping me on irc when you are available sometime and I can enable debugging and we can try testing with some tickets and track it down?

I know we have tried to meet up and keep missing each other. ;(

How about this: I have enabled a bunch of debugging on the rel-eng trac. Can you open a test ticket there, confirm you don't get email and I can go look at debugging output. ;)

I've just tested rel-eng trac and I got e-mails. Let's assume this has been fixed until proven otherwise. Thanks

Hum. I don't see you cc'ed on that ticket... note that trac does not auto add you to cc like bugzilla does. You have to add yourself in the cc. If you do that do you start getting the emails?

My bad, I got an impression that it does do that. Will try.

Sorry fo that, cc works.
