= background analysis = The mailing list is private, but even so it is convenient to have up to date archive to look up historical references. Not sure if this has something to do with the migration from red hat server to fedora project server. This list was not moved when most of the list where transferred. Not sure why it was left behind and if it was only this list that was left behind. Just commenting this because it may be a clue. I do not have records that old to corroborate this.
= implementation recommendation = Look if it is possible to fix the archive to start recording mailing list activity again.
I think this may have been a permissions issue which I have now corrected.
Can you send a post and see if it appears in the archives now?
I looked at the archives and it is working now. I didn't need to write a test email. Thanks for fixing this.
