This will allow experimentation with converting the packages repositort to another VCS, especially if the tool requires direct access to the ,v files.
rsync -avz cvs.fedoraproject.org::pkgs ./
We've never really run a public rsync server on that box with those files, if we run into problems we may have to remove it again. Perhaps a nightly gzip or something would work. In the meantime, enjoy. Let me know if you have any problems.
Would you please reenable rsync access? I would like to use it to maintain a git mirror like the one Lennert Buytenhek set up.
rsync access is enabled for pkgs and lookaside. /cvs/dist is no longer needed. Closing ticket.
